OUR STORY

MOBA is deeply personal. It is born from years spent in professional kitchens, from lessons learned through discipline and hard work, and from a childhood shaped around food, family, and service. For us, MOBA is not just a restaurant it is a reflection of our journey, our values, and our shared dream.

Founded by husband-and-wife chefs Noor Gandhi and Mudit Narula, MOBA brings together two distinct yet complementary culinary paths. Noor’s global training and experience across European kitchens shaped her instinct for innovation, plating, and guest experience. Mudit’s deep grounding in Indian cuisine and years of leading high-pressure kitchens built his mastery of flavour, structure, and systems.

Together, they envisioned a space where Indian food could be celebrated beyond the familiar rooted in heritage, refined through technique, and served with warmth. MOBA is their way of honouring where they come from, while sharing what they love most: food that comforts, connects, and tells a story.

We believe Indian food is rich, layered, and endlessly versatile. At MOBA, we honour tradition while allowing ourselves the freedom to experiment using global techniques, refined plating, and modern perspectives.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

what does moba mean really?

The name MOBA is derived from our grandparents, Mohini and Balraj two people who shaped our understanding of food as an act of love.

They taught us that feeding people is the purest form of devotion, warmth, and generosity. MOBA stands as a tribute to their values and the legacy they left behind.
